Yep, and William Tell had a Crossbow with an engraved picture of Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak on it.

Ahhh you can always find Speer Gold Dots in .380-It's the target ammo that's hard to find.

Now the forces of darkness (Bill White campaign) will be beating him like a drum over it from now until elections.
The type of people who would have a problem with a wild animal being iced wouldn't have voted for Perry anyway. The common sense of carrying a handgun for personal protection will only serve to fire up his base a little and help his re-election. Don't worry about the idiots in Travis county; they are the extreme minority in the state.

Re: Texas gov. shoots, kills 'wily' coyote during jog

The bottom line is that there is no rational reasons to not have a round chambered; fear, unfamiliarity, or discomfort are not rational reasons.

Re: Texas gov. shoots, kills 'wily' coyote during jog

Not having a round chambered works nicely when an animal is just looking at you, but for a moving threat, I've rather have one in the pipe. If he's got a CHL he should have been taught that is class.

Did he not have it in Condition One (or Condition Zero, since the LCP is DAO)? I must have missed that in the articles I read.
I didn't notice that either.

The LCP is not a (actual) snake gun. He meant the snakes that walk on 2 legs.

Re: Texas gov. shoots, kills 'wily' coyote during jog

I am proud to:

Live in Texas,
Have Rick Perry as my governor,
and carry a LCP with a Crimson Trace!

It's good to know that a single JHP .380 will drop a coyote. :hurry:
