How do you practice something like that? You either catch it or it's break out the dental floss...for those anyway.

Seriously though, it looks like they snipped the ends off their FMJs and tapped them with a drill press.
Not even that ambitious-The FMJ nose is already flat-They just tapped them with a drill press. Still, it bothers me that there are people out there that think they're packin' hollow points when they've loaded their guns with an FM with J.

I wonder how many of those itty bitty scoops it takes to make a whole bullet.

Re: My experiences with carry my new Bersa Thunder.

The Monarch JHP is a curiosity. It cost about the same as their FMJ and seems to have just a little bit of lead scooped out of the center. I would love to see if there is any expansion.

I don't like the magazine safety because it's a calcaneal tendon of the Bersa Thunder .380. It cost me the price of shipping to have the magazine disconnector spring corrected. The problem with magazine safeties is that they often make the gun "safe" when the magazine is inserted. My UC9 is without a magazine safety and that makes me happy. ;-)

Re: My experiences with carry my new Bersa Thunder.

Bersas are awesome, but there is a lot of ignorant gun store owners/clerks. They often don't know anyone who owns one, so they assume that because of the low price and country of origin they are unreliable. I've got the Duotone .380 and the UC 9 and wouldn't trade them for a Beretta, or a Walther. The Bersa SA trigger is amazing and the guns are dead reliable. I know a prominent gun store owner in Austin that won't carry Bersas, but tells everyone that they should buy his Kel-Teks. :???:

I own Bersas because they are reliable, accurate, inexpensive, and are SA/DA with a decocker.
