I'm surprised by 2 things-That your buddy's BT isn't reliable, and that your wife likes her LCP. I love my LCP because it fits anywhere, but it absolutely kicks like a mule and for that reason wife wife won't go near it. Her daily carry is a Bersa Thunder .380 and we've put 500+ flawless rounds through it; and it kicks like a water pistol.

About the ammo, I'm a blame the gun first kind of guy; I believe that a good gun will eat anything, just like a good car should burn anything.
