Re: Target respectfully requests that you shop unarmed
I saw a news story on this wherein a lady being interviewed for OCT noted that Target's comments will not keep out CHLs unless they post a 30.06 sign. The station showed a picture of one to give an example of what sign she was talking about. THANKS for throwing us under the bus, OCT, just because y...

Got a Letter
Got a letter this week from DPS saying they had not received my wife's CHL 100 for her renewal or that it was "incomplete." Knowing full well that I had included all the proper documents in the packet, I called their hotline. Speaking to one of their phone reps, (who would not talk to me a...

Re: Reason you decided to get CHL ?
The 2005 Smith County Courthouse shooting. (Google it) I stood helplessly at a third floor office window and watched two people get murdered in cold blood and a Sheriff Deputy friend get shot and horribly wounded. My wife was with me in my office and we were scared to death because in spite of all t...

Re: Myth of Center Mass Hits - Article
In February of 2005, I was an eyewitness to the Smith County Courthouse shooting. My wife and I both worked for the county at the time in offices overlooking the scene of the shooting. Standing in a window on the third floor, I watched the BG execute his ex-wife and wound his son with a high powered...

Re: Man says he killed mugger fleeing on bike in South Dalla
I have little fact to go on here except the shot placement, however, that tells volumes. I’m leaning towards this being a CHL’er who’s ego was bruised by the robbery, got it into his head that, “The law says I can shoot him,” so he shot him in the back. I do not believe his life was in much jeopard...

Re: Not happy with the downtown Austin Hilton
Here's another update. I know it's shocking, but, as of right now, I have not heard a squeak from Hilton Austin or Corporate Hilton concerning my phone calls or email. Frankly, I doubt if I will get a response. I may try another "follow up" email, but, I think I pretty much have my answer....

Re: Not happy with the downtown Austin Hilton
Also, I noticed the recent post by Pucker with the photo of a similar sign. This is exactly what they looked like. Veeeery hard to see. Also, here's a question for y'all. There were actually two signs. One on the window to the left of the door, another on the window to the right of the door. The on...
