This is a great example of the quality Marlin lever guns prior to the Remington takeover. It is in beautiful condition by the photos. I viewed he photos of this rifle when TAM was cosidering it and it's still in excellent shape. I already have a Marlin .444, but if I didn't this .45-70 would be one I'd snap up.
