I thoroughly agree. Any method used to take out that sack of slime is fine by me.mojo84 wrote:That video turns my stomach. It's a shame the guy didn't have a rifle instead of a camera.

Re: Shots fired at BLM protest in Dallas
Continued prayers for the victims and their family and friends. I recall that only 90 were "unarmed", but that number doesn't tell the whole story. Many were shot while engaged in trying to assault an officer , take a away the weapon from the officer , shot inadvertently/accidentally or victims of a stray bullet in a justifiable shooting. A black male is 18.5 times more likely to shoot a police officer than be shot by one. To be fair I wish I had the statistic for all the races, but I couldn't find it. We all know there a bad shootings, but the news and talking heads never portray the reality of how infrequent they are give the enormous number of police encounters in this country and that they're the exception.carlson1 wrote:C-dub sorry for your lost. My prayers for all those who lost loved ones in a senseless protest and ambush. Evil reigns in our streets because, "judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter."
The talking points of guns, police brutality, race relations, etc... It is evil the reigns.
Last year police killed 1001 people.
502 Whites
250 Blacks
163 Latino
18 Asians
13 American Indian
54 unknown
The African American man has to tell his child nothing different from what I tell my grandchildren when they come in contact with the police DO what they tell you to do.

Re: Shots fired at BLM protest in Dallas
My daughter's father in law, a pastor in DFW, posted this in social media. I'm sure everyone here shares his sentiment, but I was especially moved by his words and asked him for his permission to share it here.
A Call to Pray
Let’s pray for the injured from last night’s shooting. Let’s pray for the families of those who were killed – comfort and peace.
Let’s pray for all of our men and women in blue. They often step into harm’s way – something particularly true at the current time. May our LORD protect them and keep them safe.
And to my friends in blue, THANK YOU! Thank you for serving and protecting! Thank you for doing it with integrity and excellence! Thank you for your courage! Thank you for treating people with dignity! Thank you for defending life and freedom! I grieve the death of your law enforcement brothers. I grieve for the injured. I grieve for their families. I am angered at the disgusting assault against life, against authority, against innocence.
Let’s pray for our governing authorities – that they will govern in such a way “that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:2-4).
Peace, the dignity of every person (inclusive of our men and women in blue!), the freedom to live unto God, and gospel freedom – these are the marks of a great culture. Pray that our leaders would take us into a richer experience of them.
To my fellow pastors: Let’s be voices of grace and truth! But let’s be instruments of peace! The angry among us need to be encouraged toward civil dialogue and peaceful resolution. Let us defuse hostility, not fuel it. And while conversations about social justice are in order, let’s be careful to not profile law enforcement officers in a disparaging way. They deserve better! It is disappointing to see/hear anti-blue commentary (explicitly or implicitly) from anyone – especially pastors. The great, great majority of these men and women need (and deserve) our prayer, affirmation and support!
Thank you Blue!

Re: Shots fired at BLM protest in Dallas
So sorry for the loss of your friend and praying for his family and all those affected by this brutal assault on our law enforcement personnel who so bravely put their lives on the line for us all.C-dub wrote:I lost a friend last night. He leaves a wife and two daughters, 14y and 10y. He was only 2-3 years from retirement. He didn't talk much about the job. I knew he worked at Love Field before, but didn't know he did foot stuff and didn't think he would have been anywhere near that last night.
Extreme sorrow and anger is what I'm feeling this morning.
