I assume your question is accidental deaths, I don't know the statistics but I would venture the firearm death rate is significantly lower than drugs/poisoning, falls, auto accidents etc. Latest stats I could find were for 2010 when accidental firearm deaths for children under 15 numbered 62. I don't know how many accidental drug deaths for the same age group or deaths from drowning in swimming pools.MeMelYup wrote:What is the statistic for death by drug overdose. Suicide by firearm is higher; Approx 50%, then Hanging/Suffocation 22.5% then Drugs/Poisoning 18.5%
