I never thought about those shooting on private land. Your storage method looks to be very efficient and perhaps the answer for the OP.
Just to be clear, I wasn't putting anyone down for storing targets, just interested in the reasoning behind it.

I had no idea that any one single person would need so many targets that it would require storage. Not saying you don't but am curious as to the reasoning. 
Personally I'd throw them away and store ammo. It looks like you have more than a lifetime supply...
