I heard a couple of years ago about reloaders saving money by using walnut from Petco. I had looked several times but never found it. My brother found it for me last sprind during his visit. It will probably save you some time if you ask for it by name.

The lowest cost tumbling media I have found is at Petco. Look for "Kaytee All Natural Walnut Litter for Birds" at your local Petco. It is about half the price of "Reloading Walnut Media" and the way I look at it, ground walnut is simply ground walnut. If you want to use a poishing adder then I would recommend Dillon or one of the other major brands of tumbling polish.
