The double action requirement really narrows the field. I am not sure any of the major companies other than S&W are making full size double action 22's now. You can find any caliber you want in single action but the choices get very small for double action revolvers. The market is apparently demanding cowboy single action and small double action carry revolvers and that seems to be what the companies are producing. I guess supply and demand dictates production models for all industries, including firearms.

I am very pleased with my S&W model 617. Double action, available in either 10 round or 6 round cylinder. You can save a lot by finding a used one.
