Re: "Waiting Room"
I live in Kansas and just got mine today. It was mailed on Monday after showing "complete" on Friday. Didn't seem to have any problems with mailing to another state.

Re: 100+ Club
SWEET! Just checked and my status also changed to "Application Complete - license issued". Now I only have to rely on the ever efficient US Postal Service...perfect example of government efficiency. Hopefully they don't lose my envelope on it's way to Kansas.

Re: April 2009 Applications
I called DPS the other day and was told the same thing...waiting on background check. Unfortunately, the lady couldn't/wouldn't tell me what agency was outstanding with the check. I haven't lived in TX in the last 11 years (although my home of record is in Hays county) and the last 5 have been Oklah...

Military in another state
Anyone have any idea how DPS does things for the military? Do they check each of my resident addresses over the last 5 years? I'm a Texas resident, but really haven't lived in the state for 11 years. My home of record is in Hays County. I'm currently stationed in Kansas. Over the last 5 years, I've ...
