I forgot to put an asterik on my last statement.
NTTA has a contract with DPS for patrolling the Tollroads in the Dallas area.

For the record, any and all "revenue" from traffic tickets goes to the County. DPS receives nothing. Also, Troopers do not work traffic inside the city limits of major Cities. Loop 610 is well inside the city limits of Houston. You must have observed HPD or HSO units.
