Can you carry using a belt holster under a shirt or jacket and it happens to print? Is this legal or not. I cannot find any rules. Imagine, open carry, but a shirt tail is covering it. Only way I know how to explain. Any and all discussions appreciated. Thanks
Sandy

Mr. Dickens, I'm fully aware of the law and how it works, but that wasn't my question.

Area's around Texas that are questionable about CHL
I don't know if this subject has been discussed or not, I'm new. I was told by a good friend, who was told by his instructor that the Beaumont and Port Arthur area cops give the CHL holders a hard time, even confiscate guns sometimes. Is this true and are their any other areas in TX that are tuff on...

114 days and still "Processing Application". I hope I'm not the only one singled out for a long wait. Whatever, I'm patient.

An absolute great idea. Never crossed my mind when I had a gun stolen several years back. Good luck and thanks for the post.

Re: Links for gun safe info in the works
You guys talked about PacSafe, which is cool, but whats really neat is PacSafe Travel Pack. I use a pack often and this one does it all.

Re: ? Can you tell me what DPS is telling me?.
Well, just got off the phone with DPS and found out what this means (what was posted). I did indeed hit the wrong link by accident. According to them, when that note appears, it's just what it says, inactive. Got on line again and made sure I hit the correct link and we're back to "Processing A...

Re: DPS Processing Times
Mailed it 3/28/09/. Did have to re-due the fingerprints electronically, but that was done the next day. Still no CHL. I reckon it takes lots of time.

? Can you tell me what DPS is telling me?.
Just checked online about the progress of my CHL. Before it always said "Processing Application". Now they posted
"No application or license/certificate active." What exactly does that mean? They've had the app since the end of March. Thanks

Re: Boating
I'm new to this forum. I've been lurking at times and been finding some very good info. I'm also new with a CHL. I freashwater fish alot and have been very cautious about caring my weapon in my bass boat, never know when you might need it. After reading a comment here about using a Flare Gun in defe...
