Re: IWB options

Thank you so much for the replies.

TAM, I am not too worried about printing. I am more concerned about the amount of printing that my G23 holsters do. The rear site ends up about two inches away from my side unless I move it up to about 1:30-2:00. I prefer about 3:00.

I think trying on my dad's CTAC spoiled me because I had his Colt Combat Commander on and you couldn't even tell it was there when you were looking for it, and I was wearing a normal Tshirt. </run on sentence>

I am leaning more toward the MTAC after reading a bit. There is a CompTac dealer in Sherman. Does anyone know if they let you try on the holsters in store?

Can you elaborate on why you never carry the Glock? Just curious... is it size, weight, function, etc.? ... or is it that you don't like 'dancing with an ugly girl'? :biggrinjester:
A lot of it has to do with the holsters I have. I have a very comfortable OWB Galco holster, but I prefer IWB because I can wear my normal clothes. My IWB is a very nice Leather Bianchi. It just rides too high for my taste and with my body type(*cough*love handles) the rear sights print too much.
That being said, the main reason is that I absolutely love the Kahr. It is perfect to just throw on and walk out the door and I am as accurate with it as I am with the Glock which is what I use to shoot IDPA (not that I am any good).

Thank you for the suggestions so far!

Oh, and just because she's ugly doesn't mean that she doesn't have a charming personality.

IWB options

I currently have a Bianchi leather IWB holster for my Glock 23. I don't enjoy it as the rear sight tends to be too far forward and it prints. I also have a Galco stow and go IWB for my Kahr MK40. I like this one but the Jclip prints too much.

I have been looking at the Crossbreed Supertuck, the CompTac MTAC and the CompTac CTAC. My dad has the CTAC for a 1911 and I liked it a lot.

Does anyone have experience with these that they can compare them to each other?
Or are there other holsters I should consider.

With the holsters I have, I end up never carrying the Glock and always carrying the Kahr(which I absolutely love, so that's not a problem but I would like to have the Glock as an option).

Thank you so much for your input.
