Wow, that's a cannon!
I've already decided to return the bag and get either a "small" or "medium"...the XS is just too tiny for carrying my 92F and anything else...and since it's a "messenger bag", I think I should at least be able to carry messages. Well, you get the idea. Maybe the next size up that will allow me to also carry a notebook for Medic School...

Re: April 2009 Applications
I'm thinking about going to the gun range to purchase a holster...the one I have is not suitable for concealed carry...it's a gigantic Bianchi combat holster. I just bought a Timbuk2 messenger bag for the "in-the-meantime". This after making fun of my cop friend for his MURSE...
Anyone else carry their pistols in messenger bags or other bags?
Mine is solid black though...I am second guessing the Xtra Small, since I can't fit my school notebooks in it...but for carrying my firearm, it's pretty good. It also has a small hidden pocket inside that fits a holstered baby glock perfectly...

Re: April 2009 Applications
Thanks for that...
We learned that in class, and it was someone else along the way that gave me the misinformation!
My LEO buddy then followed up with "keep it in your car...Castle Doctrine!" ...I told him it's not worth the hassle...I'll wait for the plastic...even though my photos make me look like a bloated, stoned pacman frog...hopefully it won't be too bad! =)

Re: April 2009 Applications
I checked online three days ago (Tue, July 24) and my application was approved, or "license issued"...
However, my father, who went through every step with me, side by side, down to the return receipt at the Post Office...is STILL in the "processing application" stage. I am wondering, could this be because of his "SPECIAL CONDITIONS: E (Senior Citizen)"? He checked that because the fee was considerably less, and he is, after all, a Sr. Citizen...
Has anyone else been in this situation? Our instructor was awesome; he walked us ALL through our forms, checked EVERY line, and would let people start over with a clean application if they misprinted anything, so I KNOW there was no error or conflict that would have kicked it back.
Dad is on vacation, and I messed up by calling him with the "good news" before checking his status...I feel horrible and am wondering if this would warrant a phone call to Austin?
Oh, one more thing...we were told that once it says LICENSED ISSUED we were good to carry...that the police would have it flagged in their computers if we were pulled over...yet my cop friend says I currently have no flag...so for now, NO CARRY.
