Chas.
Charles,

I learned so much when Compvest did the ladies holster show and tell two years ago. It was great to be able to try them on and see how they actually fit before dropping the cash to buy them. I never thought an IWB would work for me because of my frame. After trying on an IWB at the forum day seminar, I was amazed at how they can "disappear" if you put them in the right place.

Me, too. I wouldn't get that one. I need something that holds it up much higher and preferably has two attachment points, preferably velcro. And I think I would prefer to carry around the 5 o'clock position. But it sure is purty!
Hoi,

Check with our own RiverRat here on the forum. He makes fabulous handtooled leather holsters. He worked with me on color (it had to be purple) and style. His prices are very reasonable. Here's a picture of mine:

The picture does not do it justice. It's purty!

Re: Ladies' holster options - requesting pictures

Hoi,

I've had my CHL for almost a year now and I have to say that there's several things I've learned about carrying a gun. The biggest eye opener is that for me, at least, there's no single right way. It depends on my clothes (tunics, tucked in shirts, dresses, etc), depends on the gun, depends on where I'm going to end up if I'm out and about, depends on the weather....it just depends. I've also learned to listen to CompVest...most of what I know about carrying as a female, I learned from her. I've learned that IWB holsters (the right one) are quite comfortable and virtually disappear when you have them on in the right spot. And I've learned from this forum that most men really don't like their women to carry "off body" in a purse. I carry in a purse a lot, but it suits my lifestyle and what I do. The best advice I can give is to get the gun you want and start trying things out and be patient.

Good luck!

T.
