I'm pretty tough on knives as well. I always had a little pocket knife since I was a kid. I upgraded to a bigger clip knife when I went through EMS and was on the ambulance. Great for seatbelts. I've gone through countless Gerbers, a few S&W's, and one Benchmade. The Benchmade got lost in the mail when I sent it back for a factory repair. Scale broke and they said they'd replace it for free. Never came home. Benchmade showed they'd sent it back, but UPS never delivered, and couldn't track it down. I didn't fight, and I should have. Stupid of me. Now I've got an Emerson 2002 Commander with wave feature. 3 years old and I have no intention of replacing it anytime soon. It's hands down the best knife I've ever owned. I feel naked without it.

That looks like a great pair to carry in the field. Looks like they'd be very happy snuggled with you along a fence line under a cedar with your trusty favorite rifle waiting for that perfect deer. Hope you get to enjoy them as much as we enjoyed the pic!
