I've been carrying 200gr Hornady's in my Glock 30. I still carry 230gr Gold Dot's in my Kimber Raptor. I've never had a problem with either one. I also recently had to dispatch an attacking dog at our pit/shooting range. I was carrying my G30 with the 200gr Hornady's at the time. It did it's job. I'...

This kind of goes with another thread as well, but the topics are similar, so here it goes. I think that with current styles, tactical pants and Under Armor are less likely to scream gun these days. I notice kids wearing the stuff ALL the time! I went to the local mall and saw tons of kids wearing U...

I want to try one out first, but I think I'm going to go with the Jackass. It looks like it has more adjustment. I like the downward canted diagonal draw. It feels more comfortable that straight horizontal or straight vertical to me. I've been playing with the holster I have and have about found a c...

Shoulder holsters?
I'm looking at getting a shoulder holster. I want to carry my Raptor some, but I'm not having good results concealing it. I tried a cheapo Galco IWB suede holster, but I don't really like that. I'm thinking about the Miami Classic, or the Jackass. Any thoughts on those? I know I've seen a few poster...

Dump shooting is great. We used to go to a few pits west of town here in Odessa that people have dumped in. Then the SO started running people off. I don't know if it was land owners or not, but you can't go anymore. So some friends bought some land with a celiche pit on it. We've built a range ours...

I've build 4 off of DPMS lowers, I have 2 and my brother has the other 2. I saved some money by building them, but mostly it was just for fun. I upgraded alot of the parts. One of mine is collapsible Magpul M93 stock with a free float rail and M4 profile barrel with a few extras, and the other is a ...

I didn't know Wilson had conversion kits. I'll have to get a few of those. I've tried several mag with my Raptor II and I like the Wilson's best. I've got 3 now, 1 in the weapon for carry and 2 spares on my belt. The Chip McCormick's are good too. I was kinda scared to post here, I still haven't pos...

Wow, I've missed a few things this week. I guess I've been busy roasting kittens and making puppy caserole while cleaning my thousands of evil guns and picking my teeth with the bones of innocent little tweety birds! All this before lunch! While after lunch I wander around the street looking for my ...
