Re: Sorry TSRA, No Dewhurst for me.
Dewhurts has been sending me email spam for years, I don't' think I ever wrote him about anything but I still get his campaign stuff 1-2 x a week. That makes me not like him right off the bat. What he did or din't do for Texas CHLs in Texas is no reason to vote for or against him for Sentate. Not t...

Re: Obama 'Joker' Poster Causing a Stir in L.A.
It's no secret that turnabout is never "fair play" when you're dealing with liberal idiots. I know there are some good folks in California, but I remember the saying of the comedian Gallagher, when he stated, "California is like a bowl of Granola. Whatever ain't fruits and nuts is fl...

Re: April 2009 Applications
I didn't realize how fortunate I was to receive plastic in only 91 days. Although I've carried numerous times since, I finally took my "Wally Walk" this past Sunday. That was enjoyable.

Re: April 2009 Applications
good to see an April app. done... :clapping: lets see how long it takes for another to get done :totap: :iagree: My sentiments exactly. I'm checking all the time now. Still 'processing application'. You'd think an app from a smaller county would move a little faster, but it's anyone's guess at this...

Re: What's the Origin of Your User Name?
:fire When I started riding again, it was recommended that I choose a riding nickname or handle, because I might not like the one someone else gave me. My first bike was a Kawasaki Mean Streak, and Mean Streaker drivers are sometimes known as "Streakers". So I became Streaker. Not near as ...

Re: April 2009 Applications
 I paid the license fee online and took the CHL class in March. I received and mailed the packet to Austin on April 10. It took them exactly 6 weeks to change my status from "packet mailed to applicant" to "processing application" on the website. I'm in limbo now, wondering...
