I recall reading that the DPS web site is updated daily starting @ midnight each day. So, based on this info, IMHO, checking the status more than once per day is a waste of time. Unless... someone here can confirm that their status in the morning was "Processing...", and then, upon checkin...

Just venting today... Still waiting. Online status never indicated that my fingerprints had been rejected, even though I got the big brown envelope. Last update was a few weeks ago "waiting on FBI background check..." Same update I've been given for 2 weeks now... waiting on FBI check.......

I called today and was told everything is back except for the FBI check....
Hmmm... shouldn't they recieve this before the counties?

I'm thinking this is just another excuse from their long list of excuses...
