I too have had problems with Blazer ammo. Some ranges around Houston don't allow them for that reason.
Blazer Brass is the stuff I am having problems with. Blazer Aluminum is flawless in my gun.

Entire gun was lightly dehorned for carry
Reliability tuned
Slide to frame tightened
Trigger job set to 3.75# (wanted something in between 3.5-4#

My pride and joy is FINALLY finished..

Here's the final product.

A little background.. It started off as a Springfield GI .45 that was completely stripped. Everything I want is in it. It was passed around from smith to smith and finally ended up at Caylor Custom Guns. Mike worked his magic and got it running 100%. I just got it back this evening. I think I have a permanent smile now. :grin:
