Well, guys, I'd say that you're on the right track! Playin' "mind games" really DOES help some time. Encouraging wife units to invite a friend along was an EXcellent idea! For some reason, we women like to shoot with other women. There's a comradery there for some reason.
Husbands, don't teach your wives to be shooters (sung to "Don't let your sons grow up to be cowboys...") Encourage 'em to look elsewhere for instruction. If YOU teach 'em, it could be interpreted as their "being pushed" into shooting. But, if someone ELSE teaches 'em...they're "being lead or guided." (Much better connotation than having been PUSHED.)
