I agree with the others. A fully charged mag in your gun, and a spare mag will suffice. ;-)

As far as the loading goes, go ahead and get a speed loader. It'll make life a lot easier when you are at the range.

I'm looking for one myself, but not the $29.95 one. I'm looking for the $6.95 one for my Colt Govt. .380 and they aren't the easiest to come by.
