Re: Violent crime decrease attributable to Obama?
Oh I'm not O.G. Wifey accuses me of being to optimistic and stubborn. I'll just keep on believing 1 & 3 have had a beneficial impact on the crime decrease, and .380 ammo will once again become plentiful.

Re: Violent crime decrease attributable to Obama?
"FBI Releases Preliminary Semiannual Crime Statistics for 2009 -
Violent Crime
* All four of the offenses that make up violent crime (murder, forcible rape, robbery, and aggravated assault) decreased nationwide. Murder declined 10.0 percent, robbery fell 6.5 percent, forcible rape decreased 3.3 percent, and aggravated assault declined 3.2 percent."

I believe it is interesting to note that during the reporting period that:
1. Gun sales were at a record high. All gun manufacturers reported record sales gains during that period.
2. Ammunition sales were at a fever frenzy. All of us know about the frustrating ammo shortage that has prevailed in the past year.
3. There has been record numbers of CHL applicants from all states reported this past year, causing massive delays in processing and licenses being issued.
It will be interesting to note what the current administration will say about this decrease in violent crime rate. Could the 3 above mentioned contributed to the decrease? I'd like to think so(specially due to numbers 1 & 3), but time will tell.
