Re: Respect for CHL holders

What a great story 03Lightningrocks! Thanks for sharing! You get 2 thumbs up for that one. :thumbs2: :thumbs2:

I feel your frustrations, because I too have experienced that mindset. You can't break through a closed mind that is as strong as a steel door. I think you're on the right track in sending him articles putting CHL holders in a positive light.

I hope your employees appreciate what you've done for them, for I sure do! :tiphat:

Re: Respect for CHL holders

Have faith Kevinf2349. The elusive .380 was spotted at an Wal-Mart store(I believe) in San Angelo a few days ago. I've yet to see that here in the DFW area....yet.

9mm ammo was taken off the endanger species list in late July. .45 in August. Perhaps September is the month for .380. And it's just going to get better. Ammo prices are already for coming down. In April I paid $27.50 for a box of 50 American Eagle FMJ. In mid July....$8.97 at Wal-Mart in Fort Worth. So things ARE getting better. It's just like waiting for your CHL...you just gotta be patient. ;-)

Oh dear. Did I hijack this thread?

Sorrryyyyyyyyy....(we now resume regular programming).

I wish the local gun shops would give a discount to CHL holders. Besides being "good citizens" we are probably their best customers. I just paid over $30.00 for a box of .380 range ammo. That hurts!
You know YabuUS, you just gave me and idea! I'm going to call EVERY gun store in a 20 mile radius of my house and ask them if they offer discounts to CHL holders. If yes then "you've got my business!".....if no then "that's a shame...why not?"
