Oh well! I was hoping it might help. No, I'm not worried about what will turn up on the BG check, I've been through so many for work, that they are fairly routine for me now. I just wish these government agencies could coordinate all these checks. That would be a win/win situation for everyone.

Would a previous BG check help?
I was just wondering if a previous BG check would help speed up the actual checking part of my wait? I obtained a federal TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card) in the past year, which included a Homeland Security BG check. Not to mention that in the past few years I've undergone a number of HS & FBI BG checks in connection with my employment (access to restricted sites) and a BG check to get my name removed from the TSA 'No Fly' list (you automatically get on this list if you have a very common name such as John Smith or Jane Doe).
I was just curious if anyone knows if this info gets flagged and then they only have to check for events in the past year or so? Also, would it help that I only had one residence (17yr) and one employer (25yr) listed on my application?
