I am still on FB. I do not advertise with them. My page is set so that only "friends" can seethe content and the 2-3 personal details that are entered such as DOB are hidden. Other than that, my location is like it is here, DFW. I'm connected with family and friends all over the country and a few in other countries.

If folks are worried about personal information being stolen from FB then don't put it out there. For all other things, FB and Google all do the same stuff by monitoring stuff we view. Looks like this cambridge analytica bunch figured out how to do the same thing without having to create their own search engine or social network thing.
