Well, that's not entirely true. I've taught my wife how to make a decent meatloaf. I'm still working on her mom, but I'm afraid teaching her that particular skill is a lost cause.anygunanywhere wrote:You can't teach your wife anything. If you could then women would not be the mysterious creatures that they are. I've been married 43 years and I haven't been able to teach my wife a single thing. I'm trained pretty well though. I can sit, beg, roll over, fetch and other tricks.
Leave the teaching to someone else.

Re: Need help teaching wife to shoot
Okay. Let's see how this works out and if anyone closer is able to help you sooner than I can. Due to my own schedule it might be a few weeks to a month or more before we could coordinate our schedules to meet at that range or find another we could both travel to. Of course, it would be easier if someone closer is able to help you sooner, but if that doesn't happen for whatever reason we'll see what we can work out. A little time won't hurt anything and might even help with your wife's anxiety with shooting to just leave it be for a little while.swilkes wrote:we go to the Field And Stream gun range, over by the base and airport.C-dub wrote:I'm only a few miles north of Dallas. I have a few different .22's from a revolver to a couple different semiautos and a really sweet shooting .357mag revolver that also takes .38 rounds. If there isn't anyone closer to you that you are able to get together with then we'll see if we can arrange a time and place to meet and it'll be a great excuse for me to take another ride.
