It really makes me wonder if a student must inform the university or if they can purchase their own safe and put it in their locker or closet or whatever and not tell anyone and keep it to themselves. And if asked just tell them it is for valuables.

I have a HUGE problem with the way they are handling the dorms. One must identify themselves to the university as having a CHL/LTC in order to get one of those rooms. This defeats the entire purpose of concealed carry and prohibiting anyone but LE knowing about ones CHL/LTC status.

I do not like this aspect of how this is being handled.
