The RR driver wasn't trying to confront them. He wasn't going to let them get their way and went around them when they blocked the highway. The rough stuff happened after that because the bikers got upset that he went around them.aaangel wrote:wow! c-dub you're a brave man! good luck trying to confront 30 to 40 bikers by yourself with your wife and kids in the car.Too many people are afraid of a confrontation and won't do or say anything

Re: Disparity of force
True, but it's just like so many other scenarios. How many times do people need to just allow bad/criminal behavior to continue unchecked? Too many people are afraid of a confrontation and won't do or say anything, which only emboldens them and makes them think that behavior is acceptable. The RR wasn't trying to hurt anyone by going around them. These bikers own this entire event and should take responsibility for the entire outcome.EEllis wrote: Look I think what the bikers did was criminal start to finish. I'm not letting them off the hook at all for anything that happened. As the situation was I have no issues with what he RR drive did. That wasn't my point. I do believe that he got in that situation because he, lets say tried to move thru, the large group of bikers who were delaying traffic with their activities. True I'm just guessing at what happened before the video. And by the way how well did fleeing help? Maybe because he wasn't willing to do what was necessary to avoid it, maybe just because he chose the wrong turn, but the man ended up being pulled out and beaten anyway. I'm just playing a bit of the Devils Advocate here and saying sometimes being in the right still means you lose.
