I do not tweet, but it's gotta be better than poking him on FB, which I haven't done either and am not entirely sure of what it is anyway.sjfcontrol wrote:It just seemed a little odd to me for somebody to 'tweet' the Pope.
And more than a little worrysome to RECEIVE a tweet from the Pope.

Re: Electoral Votes
I agree with anygunanywhere and have thought the same thing for many many years, but with a slight twist. While an abortion does have an effect on a woman's body, she is not killing her body. Another person is being killed. Besides, aren't there also laws against self-mutilation? Maybe not criminal, but it sure might get you a trip to see some folks in white coats.pbwalker wrote:talltex wrote:[quote="Oldgringo{snip}
Well, that makes at least two of us, HP.
Furthermore, I am married to Mrs. Oldgringo and that suits us fine (most days) and we don't care who else marries whom. It's not ours to judge nor is it any of our concern.....as long as we don't get any bills for it.
Nope, there's a few more of us...
I imagine there's a majority because I fit in that camp. What a woman does to her body, who people marry, etc. doesn't concern me. Until I have to pay for it...then it's game on.

You're right. It did get a little touchy there for a minute and could have gotten out of hand, but didn't.Purplehood wrote:As far as I know we are talking about the direction that the government and ideology is taking in the USA. Not sure why that would need a lock.C-dub wrote:IBTL

Re: Electoral Votes
I'm just beside myself. I have two nephews, one that can vote and the other one year too young, that are glad the obamanation was re-elected. They didn't get this from their parents. My brother and SIL both voted for Romney. How do you folks with liberal relatives deal with this? I love them, but I don't know if I'll be able to speak to them again without loosing it.
