If you are going to correct someone thats great, but get your facts straight first. The theater is in Colorado not Texas. There is no 30.06 requirement in CO.

The thread I am going to reference is relatively deep, so you might not have read all of it or seen these posts from one of our own Moderators, CHL instructor, former and possibly retired LEO. In the second link, Keith B's post is the third one from the top. Despite not having the illustrious 30.06 sign, no sign has the force of law unless it is posted in a place that is statutorily off limits by CO law.
