I kind of wonder if there were really any "good old days" when it comes to presidential elections. I've been voting since the 70's and can't think of any election I didn't vote based more on who to vote against as compared to voting for someone. Reagan was the closest. After reading many of the writings of folks such as Samuel Clements and Will Rodgers I wonder kind of suspect it has always been this way, which leads to some hope. We've survived as a country for years, centuries?, with horrid political leadership.

I really hope the Republicans pull it off but I have little faith in them. Back when Clinton was being under fire I remember talk of how there was a conspiracy against him. I always said the Republicans couldn't organize a good picnic, much less a conspiracy. They've done little to change my opinion.
Yup. Probably not since George Washington has there been an election where a lot or most people didn't vote for the least objectionable.

Re: November 6th, 2012

In my heart, , as if my heart knows anything.

I voted that the GOP nominee will win, but I really don't have a clue. I think either Santorum or Romney have about equal chances of winning against The Obamanation. I like Gingrich, but don't think he has much of a chance anymore. And as for Paul's chances, "rlol" . I'm sorry, but all I see and hear is Walter from Jeff Dunham.
