True enough. Someone of sufficient size that appears to be capable of handling themselves will be much more likely to deescalate a situation with their mere presence than someone of a smaller stature. One of my DPD friends is an excellent example of this. He is only about 5'9" and BG's are always testing him. He's getting up there in age, but can still handle most situations.
