You're talking about the standard "Unlicensed Possession" sign, right? I don't have any problem with that, but why say anything to them? Once informed of their ingorance they may do a little research and post a valid 30.06 sign. They do not and please don't give them a clue. That is a very old sign here in Texas and is irrelevant now.
