That is your choice and I totally respect that. It has been an extremely rare circumstance that I needed to go inside, but I still carried when I did. I have not been there in over two years.Blindref757 wrote:I've read those threads, but with the GVPD Chief's statement, I'm not willing to give $40K to a lawyer to defend me if I get the wrong cop.

Re: 5 shot dead in Grand Prarie Roller Rink?
Oh, but you can. There are several threads around here regarding Grapevine Mills Mall and the GVPD. The signs are old and no longer valid, but the GVPD Chief has said they are close enough for him. However, he also said that it will be up to each individual officer as to whether or not they will actually arrest someone for carrying inside there.Blindref757 wrote:After reading about this story, it really irritated me off to not be able to carry at Grapevine Mills yesterday. A promise to my son to go to Legoland was important, but I really hated seeing those signs at the door!

It's too bad there hadn't been a good guy there to stop him.
It would be really hard for me to shoot a family member. Even if it were my wife's family, I might hesitate to shoot into, or past a crowd of innocents.
However, even it were my own brother and he started to shoot his kids I would stop him.
