Got my first public carry in today. No Wally world but hit Academy and HEB. I carried my glock 19 In a Bullard Dual Carry
OWB. I wore a regular thee button long sleve logo shirt and my leather jacket. Wore the jacket at Academy and ditched it for the grocery shopping. Though I was overly aware and cautious of my cargo all went well.

Picked up a real nice pair of Leupold binoculars for my next deer hunt at Academy thanks to Christmas gift cards.

Good times!

Guess the nagging finally paid off. :) I called and left a message with my Tech on Thursday. This morning I got the status on the site that it is complete!

Went to the range on Monday and again yesterday. Still waiting on the tech to clear my app. It was a simple class C 18 years ago. Come on guys!

Got an email today stating that the app was with a technician looking into the arrest I reported. This was an arrest from a warrant on a class C misdemeanor over seventeen years ago. I also submitted the certified county statement that they have no records. DPS does have a record of that as I have done a search on their website. I assume once this clears I am good to go.

UPDATE: " The rest of the background is complete. The technician needs to clear the file."

With all the approvals, and even some in the Nov waiting room being approved, I got impatient and called for a detailed status. "Waiting on background checks". The wait continues

I walked mine in on the 14th as well 04LTDBUSA. Time to start checking!

Home from my trip. Wearing the Dual Carry now. Hides the Glock in shorts and a plain white tee. Amazing how it disappears. I bet it will be even better when the holster forms to my hip. The holster is made a really nice leather and looks to be very solid and durable. Should last for years and years. I have to send the belt back because it is too small :( Guess I was being optimistic :)
