Hello fellow instructors, What do you guys and gals do when an individual has come to your class with the paperwork because they applied online with the TXDPS prior to May 1st. Now that DPS has gone paper less. Its less of a headache to send folks to apply online but how do I react given they applie...

I inform my students of the option to apply online prior to our class. If they do not apply, I still send them to the website to apply after our class. I always keep packets on hand just in case they do not want to apply electronically.

Last year I found out on a Thursday that the packet was due on that next Monday. I took care of all my paper work on that Friday and drove to Austin on the Monday. It sucked but it was well worth it.
