How about this...
Next time you go over why don't you call beforehand and ask what they would prefer you do? Tell them you want the gun on the way over but if need be you'll unload it, keeping the ammo in the car, and store the gun in a safe or something in their house as soon as you get there. That way there's no ch...

Hickeroar, at what malls have you seen these 30.06 signs at parking lot entrances? I have yet to see a 30.06 sign at a mall other than Grapevine/Katy Mills malls, and those were only on the mall entrances, not the parking lot entrances (and also not on the entrances through a retail shop, only the ...

The Fort Worth Zoo is posted as well...and their land is owned by the city of fort worth. They lease the land from the city of ft worth and they post a 30.06 sign. People who have inquired about the legality of this have been told that the sign is allowed because because the property is being leased...

30.06 and outside carry?
I know some malls have 30.06 signs posted at every entrance to the parking lot. Is it illegal to bring your gun into the parking lot and keep it in the car? Or do those signs only apply to carrying "indoors" or beyond "checkpoints" when outdoors?

OK, so basically there's no state law banning carry in the unsecured area of an airport. That's what I thought. Thanks. From what I understood, You can't carry on the premises of an airport. (premises meaning inside any building). Isn't that what it says right in the CHL manual or am I missing some...

A non-CHL doesn't have to tell a LEO he/she is armed, but don't lie if asked. This is a minor point, but an armed CHL only has to show the CHL to a LEO, they don't also have to say they are armed. Regards, Chas. If you show your CHL to a LEO, they assume you are armed. You are not *required* to sho...
