If I'm going out with other people I usually know where we're going in advance and would object when they suggested a place where I can't carry. Same scenario, but instead of traffic stop the other couple decides hey let's go to:
a) a bar
b) a place with a valid 30.06 sign
I don't worry about 30.06 signs because I haven't seen one in two years except at anti-gun shows, so I stopped going to those shows and don't have a problem anymore.
