It depends what you mean by car gun. What's it for? Does it replace on-body carry? Does it mitigate an access problem with your EDC while seated? Does it provide supplemental firepower if you need more gun than your EDC? Is it part of your survival kit if you break down in the middle of nowhere? Something else?Soldiernurse wrote:Huh? I have less than $200 in this gun so far, but still have a few things that I plan on doing with it. I plan on having the threading of the barrel & receiver machined to be interrupted so allow a much quicker connection, adding some high visibility sighting, & I am working on a way to leave the magazine tube loaded while it is disassembled.
Different people can have different reasons for having a car gun, so it makes sense that different problems lead to different solutions.
