Their "plastic" may be a little different than our domestic "plastic"...Their info may not be readable by our system...

Are they going to be subjected to an embarassing, and public scrutiny to have access to our state facility when they visit???

If their "plastic" is not compatable with our machines...

Just a thought...
That should work the same as out of staters carrying under LEOSA.

Or someone carrying under a fed badge (also not issued by Texas.)

leana Ramirez, 24, of Mission, went through the metal detector and then waited while a trooper ran a metal detecting wand over her. Ramirez also thought allowing guns into the building made the metal detectors less than meaningful.

"You don’t know who they are," Ramirez said, referring to people with a badge. "What if they go crazy?"

I changed "the state-issued permits" to "a badge" but the meaning is the same.
