Plastic arrived yesterday! Even sent it to the correct address and everything!

I lived in Williamson county when I submitted the forms but have since move to The People's Democratic Republic of Travis County. I even had to submit a change of address in process. I figured the address change would gum up the works a bit, but I guess not. I hope they mail it to the correct address.

just checked my status online and it now shows this:

"No application or license/certificate active."

It did say processing application yesterday morning. Anybody have any idea what this means?

Moving today, application is processing. I have to send DPS a letter with my new address. Unfortunately I'm moving to a new county (Williamson to Travis). Guess this means I should expect an extra couple of months tacked onto the wait ... oh well, maybe I'll get it by Christmas!

Just checked Status. Changed to processing application.

some progress is better than no progress.

Dropped it off at the post office 5 minutes ago...

So the wait begins...
