Re: Going to Oklahoma, couple questions
My question is, if we go through a background check, and are given the right to open carry in Oklahoma, why are we also then restricted in where we can carry? I mean, we have been found lawful, and the state has said we can open carry in Oklahoma, but now we are restricted to not carry in state buil...

Re: Jared Jewlers and Munday Chevrolet
I have purchased three new Chevy trucks from Parkway. Was in the market for a new one. But when I went to their dealership and seen the sign Asking me not to enter if I were a concealed handgun owner, I went down the road to Tomball Ford. They did not have a problem taking my money for a new F150. A...

For sale section
Need a FOR SALE/WANTED section for items other than gun related.
I know, it is never ending. But had to ask.

Re: What do you do at work?
When I was working, we could not carry, but could have in locked vehicle. So I would hide mine beside the seat between the seat and console. Great place. Purchase a padded gun sleeve. Works so well, my truck was broken into once. They broke the steering column, trying to steel the truck. That didn't...

I believe you are looking for the Compact version. Only place I was able to find one was the gun shows. And if you find one, better buy it. They are few and far between. Love mine. Shoots straight and NEVER a malfunction of any kind.

Re: Never Talk To Cops @ The Scene...
Officer, here is my CHL, drivers license, and my weapon is laying on the hood, empty. I am waiting for lawyer to arrive and will not be saying anything until he arrives.

Re: snake loads w semi-automatic?
I am not a big fan of snakes. No, that is not true. I really hate them and they just seem to love me. Because no matter when I am in the woods, they seem to find me. That being said, when one (me) comes into contact with them, and in the heat of the fight, it is very difficult to hit one with a sing...

Re: buying off internet
I find the prices at gun shows to be the best deals. Maybe it is just the guns I am looking for, but it works for me. And it must work for quite a few others, cause they keep havin em.

Re: snake loads w semi-automatic?
Rather than waste time on finding a round that works, why not just buy a revolver in the caliber that works well? Come on, you are a man aren't you. And a man can always use another gun. Right? Isn't that why they have gun shows. So we can be with people like us.

Re: Picking up a gun ordered to my FFL... any advice?
The gun is yours no matter what is wrong with it. The FFL is just a middle man. He has nothing to do with the condition of the gun. He does not warranty it. He is not selling it. You have to sign for it and fill out the paperwork. As soon as you paid for the gun and it left the seller, it was your b...

Re: STANCE
I did notice the stance on most of these, and they do have one foot ahead of the other. And it does not matter as long as you are comfortable and are shooting very well. And all these stances are well and good, but, should one not practice as if someone was shooting back at you? Make yourself as sma...

Re: Starting to love Glocks
I can seriously see myself carrying a Glock soon as my EDC. The only problem is figuring out which Ok, lets have a show of hands ... How many of you had a "Elizabeth, it's the big one ... I'm coming to join you!" moment reading this from USA1??? :biggrinjester: Yeh, kinda shocked me too. ...

Re: used handguns
Sorry to say, yes I have. Bought one that was, what I believe was shot out. A Beretta 45 acp. I shoot only 45 acp. So I know what to expect in recoil. So that was not it. The gun went every direction except toward the bullseye. I know when I shot in competition, some of the guys would have to change...

Re: STANCE
I know or have heard the stance one should take when shooting is feet apart, side by side, and lean a bit forward. But to me, I feel a little better and more balanced with one foot slightly behind the other. In my instance, being right handed, my right foot behind the left. To me I feel better and ...
