Re: CHL renewal--13 days
Beat me by a day. Mine was 14 days from online renewal to plastic in hand. Wasn't sure what to do with the bar code sheet so just held onto it. Evidently wasn't needed since I didn't need to send in further documentation. Again, way to go Texas DPS!

Kudos to Texas DPS
Just a shout out to the DPS. Did my renewal online on Jan 24. New plastic in hand on Feb 7. Wow! Great turnaround time!

Re: How is the .45 1911 Compact/subcompact?
Recommend the Kimbers highly. :txflag: I just got a Kimber Crimson Ultra Carry II for this past Christmas. I absolutely LOVE it! Lightweight, accurate and feels really good in the hand. Recoil is very manageble. I've put a little over 100 rounds through it so far with not even so much as a hiccup. S...

Re: Custom IWB Hybrid Holster for PX4SC and TLR-4
I've been using a Crossbreed Supertuck with my Beretta PX4SC for a couple years now. Very pleased with it.

Re: Seven shot in IHOP in Carson City, NV
And just think.....like the shooting in Luby's so many years ago.....just ONE customer with a CHL, a decent carry weapon, and just a little bit of skill, could potentially have reduced that body count. But instead, all we hear out of the media is how much this demonstrates a need for gun control. Sa...

Re: beretta storm
Definitely recommend this gun. I own a PX4 fullsize and a PX4 sub-compact and love them both. The rotating barrel of the fullsize gives it a smooth recoil and the size of the sub-compact makes it easy to carry and conceal. The name Beretta and dependability go hand in hand. In thousands of rounds, n...

Re: Beretta CX-4 Storm
My wife got me the CX-4 (9mm) for Christmas this past year. I have both of the Storm pistols (PX-4 and PX-4SC, both in 9mm) and just had to have the carbine to complete the set. I absolutely LOVE it. It's easy and fun to shoot and surprisingly accurate. The design definitely gets attention whenever ...

Re: Baretta Px4 Storm sub-compact
Bought my PX4 Sub-Compact last April. Concealed carry with a Crossbreed Supertuck. I LOVE it. Very reliable. Eats pretty much any kind of ammo. I agree it's easy to shoot and very accurate for such a short sight radius. Already owned the full-size PX4 and got the 9mm CX4 Storm carbine this Christmas...

Re: Beretta PX4 Sub compact
I've had mine for a little over 6 months now and absolutely love it. I use a Crossbreed Supertuck (IWB) that fits perfectly at the 4 o'clock position. I'm not quite as accurate with it as I am with my fullsize PX4, but my wife actually shoots the subcompact better. Shorter sight radius and grip take...
