Ah, let me edit or correct my comment on wall penetration. The 9mm will typically pass through "approximately 3 standard inside room walls of sheetrock on both sides of a 2x4 stud assuming it does not hit a stud and will impact the forth wall and may pass through. The 5.56 after the first two is pretty much broken up and will be bits and pieces when it hits the third wall. Hence not much chance of hitting others in my house which are 5 walls away. Great tests can be seen of this in various locations online and TV.
Regardless, I still think the CX4 looks like a fun gun to shoot and match up to a pistol, either the 92F or a PX4 I think.

Re: Beretta CX-4 Storm
I was interested in them as well at one time. I have a Beretta 92FS and the CX4 comes in a matching 9mm with 92FS mags. But for a matching rifle to a matched pistol for interchangeable magazines and ammo it is not a bad choice. But my goal was for a defense weapon better suited for my larger outside area where we live. Plus I wanted an ammo that would be less penetrating to additional walls and neighbors. So I chose to go the AR15 in 5.56 route. Fits the home defense and other issues better. Make sure you know what you want the rifle for before buying your first one I think. Just a suggestion.
