Received mine today. (Saturday, 10 Sept) I completed and mailed it on July 2, 2011. I know this is a better way for renewal, but I enjoyed going to Austin and going through the class. The class members were very friendly and I always learned something. The shooting portion was always fun and there was always at least one INSTRUCTOR that was down right dangerous on the range. We have all seen it so I won't tell any stories.

I just pulled up the CHL website and it says "completed...certificate issued" I will start checking the mail more closely.

How long is it taking to get your instructor renewal back from DPS. Do they send you a new 8X10 certificate? I did the paperwork and did the test/sent it in on July 2nd. It still shows as pending on the website.
