Thanks for the tip. I am always afraid of damaging the finish (and therefore ending up on my wife's naughty list) too so I will try this tip and that may make things less stressful around here come gun cleaning time!USA1 wrote:Excellent Tip !! ..Thanks !!kalipsocs wrote: take the rim of the 380 case, hook it under that pin, and tilt the case to the right.... it pops right out. once I figured that trick out my life became much easier! plus you don't have to worry about marring the finish with a screwdriver.
I always use a small screwdriver with a rag to protect the finish but I like your idea better.

Re: LCP Recall
My wife's LCP has yet to experience a FTFs...I admit she has only fed 150 or so rounds through it but it has been flawless so far.
It is a bit of a pain to field strip, but as far as being reliable and concealable go I give it top marks.

Re: LCP Recall
That is about the going rate ($330) anywhere in that ball park is fine....but you can almost bet the farm that someone will appear and say they got one for $30 plus they threw in a free life supply of 380 to feed it.

Already did (a 372 numbered one). It is my wife's gun and she is still breaking it in and getting used to it. I echo the 'if you can get the ammo' sentiment, but we have a Bersa and already had some ammo.
Personally I didn't find it that easy to shoot, but I have long skinny fingers and my hand was just too big for it to be comfortable.
The gun ran just fine though. 'Her indoors' put 70 through it with only one FTF on the second bullet. After that, it ran just fine. It may not be my 'go to' gun, but it is punchy, reliable (so far) , and very easy to conceal.
