IMO, once they've shown they're willing to shoot it out with the cops, any of them coming back in get shot. It's going to be a hostage situation at that point, and they're not scared to pull a trigger. I don't care to take the chance of being the first one executed to let the cops know they're not happy with the negotiations.

Besides, the last thing they'll expect during the retreat is to start taking fire from their "safe" area. It might well be the last opportunity to catch them that far off guard.

Pearland bank robbery/hostage situation

Anybody close getting any better news on this? Last I've heard was the police and FBI are still negotiating wih the robbers, but that's what they've been saying for a couple hours now.

Maybe all the CHLForum members nearby are actually inside, trying to figure out how they're going to chamber that first blank one-handed while waving a CHL badge with the other hand. :roll:
