They also get a 21-month vacation and a sick/personal leave policy that no real employer would consider.Douva wrote:If I recall correctly, their salaries are definitely next-to-nothing. I'm pretty sure they make well-below minimum wage.

We just need a rule that all school finance bills go to the end of the line so that the Reps won't be distracted by other pending bills while they're debating and amending and amending and amending and amending such critical legislation.

If that under-educated, white bushy haired old hag with the bifocals gets up there and argues relentlessly about subjects she really doesnt understand...I'm going to pull my hair out.
Is it just me, or do several members visibly age during some of Hochberg's ramblings? I'm pretty sure that clerk was a small child in the gallery when they convened.

Re: Campus-Carry Bills are dying!!!
So, what would it take to get a rule in the House that says a person loses the right to speak for the rest of the session after the third "uh" in a single paragraph?
Between waiting for people to get to the mic and the various folks completely unprepared to speak when they get there, they've wasted enough time to finish out the entire schedule. If this were a Toastmasters meeting, the audience would be throwing tomatoes...probably canned ones.
